Born in Belgium in 1981, Yannick Franck is a musician, multi field artist & performer. He creates music as a soloist using live processings of his voice and other sources such as field recordings and various instruments and objects. As well as exhibiting his photographs, drawings and installations and performing, he collaborates with several artists and musicians, composes music for dance, theater and video art.

 

He has created the bands Idiosyncrasia (with Phil Maggi and Lucile Heintz) and Y.E.R.M.O. (with Xavier Dubois). Y.E.R.M.O. took part of the 53rd International Bienale of Venice in the pavillion of Luxembourg with Gast Bouschet & Nadine Hilbert.

Yannick Franck is the founder of the independent label Idiosyncratics Records.
